During the 2020 COVID year, students had to do e-learning because of the COVID-19 outbreak. It was 50/50: some students enjoyed it, and some wanted to be in person. Today, in 2025, students are in person.

CMHS only uses e-Learning days if it's too cold outside with the weather conditions.
Students give their input on whether or not they prefer e-learning or in-school learning.
"I like e-learning, but at the same time, I mess with in-person school. We should do e-learning once a week at least, or on half days, we should do e-learning so we don't have to come to school for about three to four hours," Jayden Speed said.
Students debate whether or not they learn better in person or when doing e-learning at home.
"I prefer e-learning if we need it more or once a week. I like e-learning over regular school because I can get something to eat when I want to because I'm in the comfort of my house," Yuri Nooner said.
Students state what their experience was when doing e-learning.
"My experience with e-learning during COVID year had pros and cons because I can work from home and take care of stuff outside of school. When I'm in school, I'm kind of stuck because I'm in a classroom," Andrew Woghiren said.
"I liked e-learning the first couple of weeks, but it got boring because I was at home every day. I couldn't get out of the house, and then I couldn't socialize with my friends in school because everything was online," Rachel Lindsey said.
Students give their take on whether e-learning is effective and whether it works the same way in school regarding the learning side of things.
"I'd say e-learning is easier for doing work at home, but learning is far better in person school because it's face-to-face than learning from your Chromebook screen at home; it's more accessible," Tyler Fears said.
Concluding this information on e-Learning, students are off and on about it, doing it and not doing it, but for the most part, e-Learning is of good use. It will be interesting to see how it will be improved over the years, not just in high school but in college as well. E-learning plays a big part in the college world, where some students take online courses and have online sessions instead of in-person sessions.
