SAT prep can prepare sophomores and juniors for the upcoming months. Several students get anxious due to the scores they must bring to their respective colleges.

“I didn’t practice for it because I didn’t have time to and had a lot of things to do,” Erick Aldape said.

Many students only have a little time to study due to sports, after-school activities, jobs, and outside personal lives. Despite these busy schedules, they are still required to perform well on these difficult exams.

“Yes, I tried on the SAT, and my score was 1070 after the test,” Jaden Jeune said.

Not many people tend to care about their SAT scores or try to because they intend to attend college. Others are taking their time to make time to study for it regardless of whether they will or not.

“Well, yes, I am going to college, so yes, I care, but the people who are not, they should because they don’t know if they would want to go to college or a university in the future,” Erick Aldape said.

Even then, some sophomores are still preparing for the future. However, many people study longer because they don’t want to do poorly and not get into college.

“Yes, I am considering taking SAT prep classes for next year or this year [as a junior] because it gives you a heads up on what you are about to get into. It may be hard the first time, but when you see that sat, you will recognize what’s on it and get a good score,” Lauren Glover said.

Many first-year students still need to realize the reality of facing the SAT and how much they must study to do well.

“I still would care about my SAT score even when I’m not going to college because sometimes jobs look at your scores and background,” Glover said.
