Crete Monee Athletics has had a pretty good year, breaking numerous records. In track and field, senior Jhamarea Jones has broken Crete Monee's 100-meter dash school record, running at 10.75. Junior Joshua Hill has broken the indoor triple jump record at 47 ft and 5.75 inches. Ayomide Olanrewaju broke the indoor shot put record at 35 ft and 9 inches. Bren Milburn Broke the single season stolen base record and Taleeana Ramirez broke the single season stolen base record in softball.

Skylar Welcome is just one of several athletes this past school year who broke records.
In softball, senior Skylar Welcome set the career record for home runs in Crete-Monee High School softball history with 16 home runs. In basketball, sophomore Zyheir Gardner broke the school record for having the most points in one single game(36).
Crete Monee's boys' Track and Field team season is going pretty well. The boys are conference champs and the boys are looking forward to their state finals this coming week.
"More of a team concept, work ethic is better, and this team is more mature than last year," said head Coach Rory Lee.
Coach Lee has a lot of experience in this sport. Lee ran track for ten years and has been coaching track for 28. "Find a way to get it done" is Coach Lee's philosophy.
Crete Monee's baseball team is 18-9, but in their last 15 games, they are 13-2. The head coach of the baseball team is Coach Brad Meyers. Coach Meyers has played baseball since he was five years old and has been coaching since 2006. Coach Meyers loves the game of baseball and has such a strong passion for it.
Last year, the baseball team won the conference, but this year, they didn't. Even though they didn't win the conference as a team matching what they did last year, stat-wise, they are exceeding. Coach Meyers believes the team is going to break a few records individually and as a team. "Let the players play. Baseball isn't a sport a coach can control the flow or momentum of the game," is Coach Meyer's philosophy.
Last year was the first year Crete Monee got a boys Volleyball team. Last year, the boys were undefeated in the conference, and this year, they are at the top in the program's second year. The head coach of the boy's volleyball team last year and this year is Coach Belin. Coach Belin was a volleyball player in high school. Belin also coached the TF-North boys' high school volleyball team back in 1993 and coached the freshman girls at Illiana High School. This past season the boy's volleyball team lost three main players at different times, which hurt the team, but despite that, the boys still had a pretty decent season.
From the 2023-2024 school year, Crete Monee High School has nine seniors who committed to play sports in college. Jyaveion Green committed to playing basketball at Joliet Junior College. Track star Morgan Gillespie committed to Eastern Illinois. Micheal Leonard is committed to Simon Fraser University for baseball. Football player Jalonnie Marks is committed to Bethany College. Football player Vicente Vargas is committed to Quincy University. Soccer player Maggie Turton is committed to Trinity Christian. Jayde Tomblin is committed to Saint Xavier University for volleyball. Basketball player De'Jah Yankaway is committed to Illinois College. Lastly, I committed to LeMoyne-Owen College.
