Many people at Crete Monee play video games, and many of them love to talk about their

favorites.

We all have our favorite video games. The Esports Club competes and plays games after school.

“I’d say my favorite is probably Final Fantasy 7 or Undertale mainly because they’re

both really good RPGs, with Final Fantasy being my childhood game for a long time,”

Aaden Cole said.

The school’s most popular games would be 2k, Madden, GTA, Fortnite, etc. Along with

sports games, many students also love competitive games like Mario Kart 8, Fifa, and

League of Legends.

“I guess I would choose Super Smash Bros mainly because I like having a lot of modes,

the online multiplayer, a lot of characters to choose – all that stuff,” Taiwo Edunjobi said.

Along with single-player games, students Jayden Bates and Omar Romo enjoy online

games like Call of Duty, Fortnite, and Valorant as it’s a great way to play with a lot of

people around the world and make new friends online and connect with their old friends

through chats in-game. Many students also follow top game players who go to

tournaments to compete for cash prizes and watch streamers and content creators who

play their favorite games.

Along with online games, some students love relaxing games to ease their minds, like

Animal Crossing New Horizons or Terraria. Meanwhile, other students like games that

immerse them into a new world, usually open-world games like The Legend Of Zelda

Breath Of The Wild, Honkia Star Rail, or Genshin Impact. At the same time, other

students enjoy fighting games like Street Fighter 6, Guilty Gear Strive, Tekken 7, Mortal

Kombat, Injustice 1 and 2, and Skullgirls more.

It’s safe to say that a lot of people at Crete-Monee play a lot of games and a lot of

different types of games, from RPGs, single-player, shooters, fighting, storybook, arena

fighters, online multiplayer, PC, console, and mobile games. Students play many

different and interesting games that maybe you should look into.
