At Crete-Monee High School, they make sure that students are Respectful, Responsible and as Safe as possible. This is why they came up with Warrior Gold. If students are displaying 'RRS' behavior, then teachers are supposed to hand them out.

Warrior Gold symbolizes money. Once a month students can use it at lunch. Students choose from chips, candy, and Gatorade/water. Each item is two dollars or less, and you can only go up there once.
”The most I have gotten is three,” said sophomore Jasmine Elias. "I rarely get Warrior Gold from my teachers.”Jasmine said she doesn’t understand why they have a shop if she can’t buy anything.
“My parents have taught me how to respect everyone,” said Sophomore Gabrielle Nelson. “Plus I try to help my teachers as much as I can like passing out papers, and yet I only received two Warrior Golds last year.”
Sophomore Katie DeVries said she thinks teachers just forget about them, but also said she never shopped at the store. She said that she only received four Warrior Gold since last year, and has not received any so far this year.
“At Crete Monee Middle School, I had sheets full of comet stamps, plus they had much more of a variety of snacks to choose from," said Ryan Mastin.
At the middle school, they have comet stamps instead of Warrior Gold, but it is still used for the same thing. Every Wednesday, students take turns during lunchtime to let them use their comet stamps at the comet store.
They sell things there like chips, candy, and drinks and school supplies. The difference is they had little pieces and big pieces of candy in the range of 5 to 100 stamps in exchange. That way, everyone can at least walk away with something.
“Warrior Gold is not something you can really ask for,” said sophomore Katie DeVries. “It's more of a privilege, so if they don’t hand them out you can’t really ask. I know I haven’t asked.”
“I think they should come up with the better system overall,” said Junior Ryan Mastin. “Things will go way smoother and it may be easier on them if they come up with a better solution. Maybe reinforce the rule. It will remind them.”
